The views and amenities are hard to beat. Beautiful mountains and especially amazing as the leaves start to change. However, the condos leave a bit to be desired. They are dated and you can tell that you are a "second class citizen" compared to the hotel guests. You are all the way at the far end of the resort, the TVs are small, the shower/tub is dated, the kitchenette has a fridge and microwave but no stove top, and the interior overall just feels old.
We loved being able to relax an unwind in the condo. Taking leisurely walks in the beautiful mountains was a huge plus. Enjoyed the river rafting tour, several wine tours and the ski lift trip up the scenic trails. We went in May while schools were still in session to enjoy a more peaceful atmosphere and it was ideal.
Who ever got the bright idea to have time shares with an almost complete kitchen needs to be fired. The kitchens are complete except for a stove/oven. Sorry but a hot plate you plug in the wall isn't going to cut it when you have 6 people staying in the unit and try to cook. I asked why no stove and they said fire hazard. Um yet you have an open flame grills piped into nature gas on a wood deck on each unit. So not buying that line they feed me.
We had an amazing week! We rode the ski lift to the top of the mountain and it was worth the trek. We spent the day at the indoor water park, visited the petting zoo, ate at some of the restaurants and the men folk played (or tried to at least) golf! The weather was beautiful and the Lurau Caverns is just a short 30 minutes away. I do suggest you go, it was mind blowing!!!! Can't wait to come back to make more memories in the future.
Beautiful Resort. Great place for family and get way. Great views. Lots of fun activities on site.
